Dr. Linda Kauffman, DVM

Dr. Linda Kauffman, DVM - Owner

Growing up on a Nebraska hog and cattle farm, caring for piglets and calves sparked Dr. Kauffman’s love for animals. After high school, she attended the University of Nebraska for her undergraduate studies and graduated from Kansas State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 1983. She completed a large animal medicine and surgery internship at the Western College of Veterinary Medicine in Saskatchewan, Canada.

Following graduation, she worked in mixed animal practices in Montana, Nebraska, and Kansas before returning to Montana in 1993. In 1999, she founded Burnt Fork Veterinary Clinic, which has grown from a mixed practice into a primarily small animal clinic.

Outside of work, Dr. Kauffman enjoys trail riding her horses and spending time with her grandchildren, proudly embracing her favorite role as Grandma.





Dr. Kirstin Bull, DVM

Dr. Kirstin Bull, DVM - Owner & Medical Director

A Bitterroot Valley native, Dr. Kirstin Bull’s love of veterinary medicine began while caring for her 4-H sheep - with guidance from Dr. Linda Kauffman.

She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Biotechnology from Montana State University and graduated from Colorado State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2016. Dr. Bull returned to the Bitterroot Valley and joined Burnt Fork Veterinary Clinic in 2017.

As the clinic’s Medical Director, Dr. Bull’s professional interests include acute care, dermatology, infectious disease and public health, geriatric and palliative care, and acupuncture. She is certified in Veterinary Medical Acupuncture through CuraCore and offers integrative acupuncture services for both small and large animals.

Outside of work, Dr. Bull enjoys hiking and trail running with her dogs, skiing in the winter, reading by the fire, and spending time with her family.



Dr. Zach Damby, DVM

Dr. Zach Damby, DVM - Owner

Dr. Zach Damby grew up in Lewistown, Montana, next door to his father’s mixed animal veterinary practice where he participated in 4-H market lamb and dog projects in addition to regularly helping out at the clinic and in the vet truck. 

After high school, he attended Gonzaga University where he obtained a Bachelor of Science in Biology and then attended Washington State University College of Veterinary Medicine, graduating in 2019. 

Following graduation, he worked in North Idaho at a mixed animal practice before moving back closer to family in the Bitterroot Valley. He began working at Burnt Fork Veterinary Clinic in the fall of 2020. His interests include expanding his surgical knowledge and ability, treating a variety of species, and forming connections with the wonderful people of the Bitterroot Valley and their animals. 

In his freetime, he enjoys skiing, trail running, mountain biking, playing soccer, and spending time with his wife, Kylie, and dog, Jasper.



Dr. Randa Boler, DVM

Dr. Randa Boler, DVM

Dr. Boler graduated from Frenchtown High School in 2015. Her passion for animals began in grade school through 4-H, where she worked with a wide range of livestock and later served as a Montana State 4-H Ambassador Officer.

She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science from Washington State University in 2019 and went on to complete her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine at WSU, graduating in 2024.

After returning to Montana, Dr. Boler settled back in Evaro with her fiancé, Sam, and their lively household of pets. Her professional interests include bovine reproduction, canine preventative care, and agricultural animal surgery and medicine.

Outside of the clinic, Dr. Boler enjoys hiking, fishing, and raising national champion Miniature Herefords with her sister.
