Kirstin Bull, DVM

kirstin-bull1Dr. Kirstin Bull is a Bitterroot Valley native, growing up just down the road in Corvallis. She comes from a very dog friendly family and she raised sheep for 4-H (which Dr. Kauffman treated several times) sparking her interest in rural, mixed animal veterinary medicine.
She received a Bachelor’s Degree in Biotechnology from Montana State University and attended veterinary school at Colorado State University. During her fourth and final year of vet school, Dr. Bull participated in an exchange program and studied for a short time at the University of Edinburgh in Scotland, which was an incredibly rewarding experience where she worked on many sheep and Scottish Highland cattle.
Dr. Bull worked at a fast paced mixed animal practice in Helena before having the wonderful opportunity to return to the Bitterroot Valley to practice at Burnt Fork.
Dr. Bull enjoys the dynamic of mixed animal general practice and looks forward to building relationships with clients and their pets, large or small. Her veterinary interests include equine lameness, routine equine dentistry, and small animal preventative care.

Dr. Bull and her fiance, Tyler, have two dogs: Selway – a Wire Haired Pointing Griffon, and Mesa – a yellow Lab that they recently adopted after suffering a badly broken leg. Dr. Bull enjoys everything the Bitterroot has to offer like amazing hiking and fly fishing. In the colder winter months, she enjoys spending time with family, reading by the fire, skiing, and watching the Green Bay Packers.
